Brazil’s AI Bill 2338/2023 was approved by the Senate in December 2024, adopting a risk-based framework similar to the EU AI Act. The bill awaits Chamber of Deputies approval. In parallel, the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) Resolution 23.732/2024 already governs deepfakes in electoral advertising.
