User reports potential Kickstarter scam with alleged AI-generated text and impersonation

A first-time small business owner reported being contacted by individuals allegedly using AI-generated text in emails as part of a potential Kickstarter scam. The scam involves an alleged impersonation of a successful Kickstarter founder who then redirects the user to a vague 'campaign manager'.

A user, a first-time small business owner, reported being contacted by someone claiming to be a successful business owner with successful Kickstarter campaigns. This individual allegedly expressed interest in the user's campaign and offered to share it with a large email list, but then directed the user to a 'campaign manager'. The user noted that emails from both contacts 'sound odd and very AI generated'. The initial contact's email address was unusual, leading the user to suspect impersonation of a legitimate Kickstarter founder. The user is concerned about being lured into a scam, especially after a recent Meta ad account hack.
