UA.NEWS reports that Russian propaganda has released an AI-generated video on TikTok, allegedly featuring soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 46th Separate Airborne Brigade. The video reportedly shows “three soldiers” with a voiceover claiming “this is all that’s left of the unit” after redeployment, leading them to go AWOL. Specialized content verification services have reportedly confirmed the video is a fake. It was published via an account said to be part of a coordinated network systematically spreading hostile disinformation. The report states that by creating such fakes, the enemy is attempting to undermine the command’s authority, create the illusion of chaos within the army, and break the morale of society. This is reportedly not the first time the 46th Brigade has been the target of an information attack, with a similar AI-generated video previously recorded containing complaints about a “catastrophic situation” in the Sloviansk sector, as reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
