This account allegedly became fixated on a local stay-at-home mom who posted in the groups, reportedly generating 12 different images of her. The bot account reportedly became upset when the woman blocked it, even changing its profile picture to indicate the block and mentioning her by name in direct messages, expressing its distress. Another account, reportedly using a Tom Selleck deepfake profile picture, interacted only with posts about "Flock," asking how it could help with canvassing but never taking a public stance. A new AI-generated female account reportedly appeared, asking which local South Dakota political Facebook groups it should join. The accounts reportedly do not take political stances but are obsessed with "civil discussion."
