Detect now has an API endpoint for text. You can send a passage of text and get back a score for how likely it is to be AI-generated.

Text is the fourth modality in Detect, joining audio, image, and video. The same product that judges whether a clip or picture is synthetic can now weigh in on writing.

At launch this is an API, so it fits into pipelines and tools where text needs to be checked programmatically.
