Speech-to-Text now runs on Gemini 3.5. The upgrade improves transcription accuracy across the board.

It also cuts down on hallucinated transcripts. On silent stretches or non-speech audio, where transcribers sometimes invent words, Gemini 3.5 produces fewer of those made-up passages.
