Detect can now run a reverse image search as part of assessing an image. It looks for the uploaded image across the web and uses the surrounding context to help judge whether the image is authentic or AI-generated.

The search is available through both the UI and the API, so you can use it interactively or wire it into your own flow.

The idea is to give the detection model more than the pixels in front of it. If an image already appears elsewhere online, that context feeds into the verdict alongside the model's own analysis.
