We refreshed the HiFi-GAN vocoder used in speech synthesis. The updated code removes the high-pitch artifacts that could show up in generated speech.

Those artifacts were occasional rather than constant, but they were audible when they appeared. Fixing them at the vocoder level means synthesized audio comes out cleaner, with no change to how you generate it.
