Reported proliferation of AI-generated fake ABC News channels on YouTube

A Reddit user describes a persistent issue on YouTube where they are flooded daily with recommendations for fake "ABC News" clone channels. These channels allegedly copy the ABC News logo, use slightly altered names, and distribute "AI-generated slop" and fake news clips. The user expresses frustration that YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option is ineffective, as new clone channels appear daily, making it a "whack-a-mole" situation. The user questions why there isn't a direct option to report channels for impersonation or spam from the main feed and if ABC News is aware of the problem.
